Relics represent the spirits flowing from a destroyed target as they join together and stabilize in a new form.
(They do not necessarily have the same appearance as the relic.)
They can be collected through direct contact with the EXECUTOR.
Collecting them can bring about various effects, but on-screen they are generally shown as crystalline objects.




Minor (commonly appearing) relics


SOL(S) relics
      Raises SOL by a fixed amount.
      They raise main weapon damage when SOL level is low and speed the availability of discharge attacks.


LUNA crystal (blue crystal) relics
      Raise LUNA by a fixed amount.
      Collecting several in sequence will cause them to grow, up to a seventh form.
      Often appearing from destroyed opponents, they are referred to as "mementos".
      They have some amount of monetary value, and so increase the TOKEN counter.
      The value, and thus the TOKEN counter, increases with the relic's size.
      (With each one collected the upper meter on the right decreases, and when it reaches 0 the relics increase in size.)

      They will be drawn towards the EXECUTOR if approached while not firing the main weapon.
      Their size will reset to minimum if one drops off the screen or if the EXECUTOR is shot down.
      Also, certain targets' bullets will turn to dark crystals when the target is destroyed,
      but these dark crystals increase the TOKEN counter by very little.



LUNA droplet relics (oblong blue stones)
      Form from bullets frozen when nearby targets are destroyed.
      Collecting them increases both LUNA crystal maturity and the TOKEN counter.
      (However, their quality is degraded by the presence of bosses and the like, lowering their value.)
      # Their TOKEN value changes less than their maturity value, but is small to begin with.
      Provides one eighth of the LUNA provided by a LUNA crystal.
      Do not lower LUNA crystal maturity when lost below the screen, unlike crystals.



LUNA chaff relics (blue, spinning shards)
      The results of neutralizing target bullets in the suppression radius.
      Raises LUNA by a fixed amount when collected.
      Also draws in a small amount of STELLA.  

      Unlike crystals, they have no TOKEN value and do not lower maturity if lost below the screen.


Semi-major relics (appear only in fixed locations with certain conditions, but are nonetheless fairly common)



Young STELLA relics (green stars)
      Raises STELLA over a fixed period.  



Old STELLA relics (purple, reversed stars)
      Lowers STELLA over a fixed period.



Life chip relics (hearts)
      Lowers the NECESSARY counter when collected.
      Some other relics have slight effects on the counter as well, but life chips always lower it by 1.



Ingot relics (golden shards)
      Appear from target bullets when a boss or the like is defeated.
      Though golden, they are not gold (aurum), and have no monetary value.
      They grant SPIRITs when collected.
      They also lower the NECESSARY counter by more (1/50th) than other relics.
      Thus, EXTENDs may be triggered more frequently by defeating bosses while more target bullets are in the air.  



Reliquiae relics (stone shards)
      Stones symbolizing the reliquia of PRAYERs.
      Collected from the outer limbs of multi-sectioned PRAYERs when their cores are destroyed.
      They are fairly valuable, and raise the TOKEN counter.
      They also raise both STELLA and TERRA slightly.  
      They are attracted to the EXECUTOR, but with diminishing force.
      (They approach more slowly as time passes.)


Major relics (appear only in very limited situations)



Comet relics
      Appear after the EXECUTOR is struck.
      Some of the STELLA carried by the EXECUTOR conglomerates and recrystallizes.
      Increases STELLA by .75 levels.



Revive relics (large hearts)
      A mass of life force created inside certain kinds of PRAYER.
      Grants 1 life when collected.
      Is not affected by and has no effect on heart container expansion or immortality or the like.
