Game Summary


Shooting and destroying the targets, or not shooting them.
Dodging the things they shoot, or not dodging them.
Running up close, or staying far away.
Sticking to the bottom of the screen, or going all the way to the top.

Regardless of the player's movements, the player character is always facing upwards.
It may be advantageous to take a certain route across the screen or hide in a certain place at times, so careful planning will yield results.

Successfully reaching the end of a segment is a breakthrough, and reaching the end of segment 8 is a game clear.
Being hit by the enemies' bullets results in losing lives, and losing all your lives means game over.


Running the game


First, system specs.


OS windows98s../XP all seem to work fine
    DirectX8.1 Retail or above
MEM minimum 256M (It depends on the OS, but more is better)
CPU minimum pentiumIII 800MHz (Faster is better)
VGA minimum Geforce2mx (With at least 32M of VRAM)
    Geforce4 or better is recommended.
    Maintaining all the items for drawing is hard, so the faster the video card the better.
      *Running in windowed mode may require more VRAM


    At least 640*480, 32 or 16 bit color, with 60.0Hz Vblank
    59.9Hz should be all right, but at 59.8 or 60.2Hz some areas may not work correctly
    If that happens, try running it in windowed mode at 60.0Hz
      *If the timing isn't set in the window mode startup menu, it tries to use Vsync


    SoundblasterLive!, or any 44100Hz, 16Bit, stereo sound device


    Keyboard controls should work, but may not work well.
    A gamepad with a good update rate is probably better.
      (At least 40 updates per second is recommended. A cheap USB pad with 30 updates per second or less may not work well,
      and indeed may not be able to execute some commands.)
    Three or four buttons is fine.
      (Only three command keys are needed for gameplay.)
    More buttons may allow an easier control setup.
    A direction pad will probably be more fitting for the game than a joystick.
